EMANUEL A. BOURGEOIS, SR., of Slidell, LA, passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2014.

Beloved husband the late Claire Marie Jeanfreau Bourgeois.

Father of Emanuel A.Bourgeois and wife, Pat; Louis E. Bourgeois and wife, Margaret; Clyde J. Bourgeois, and late wife,Diane; Gerry M. Bourgeois and wife, Elaine, and the late Wayne Bourgeois.

Son of the late Edmond Simon Bourgeois and Ethel Young Bourgeois.

Brother of: Francis, Raymond, Leo, Ethel Eve, Doris, Mary Rita, Lucille and the late: Joseph and Anthony.

Also survived by 14 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Emanuel was 90 years old and longtime owner of Busy Bee Auto Repair and retired from Textron Marine.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA, on Monday, January 5, 2015 at 11:00 A.M.

Interment will follow in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.

Visitation on Monday, January 5, 2015 from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Notre Dame Hospice, 1000 Howard Ave, 10 Floor, New Orleans, LA, 70113.
