Not sure what to say?

Mike and I grew up together, his dad and my dad came to America together. The two families were always close. Have so many wonderful memories of the Greek events and of course the food was sooo good. I am so very sorry to hear of his passing. He will always be remembered with love and joy.

Having worked with Mike for almost 10 years late in both our careers, I was blessed to find a kindred spirit in wanting the best solution and design that a developer could provide to advance his community. His passion and creative thinking was contagious and I became a better planner because of him. Thank you Mike ... I'll miss you.

I'm so sorry to hear about your Dad, Matt. I enjoyed living in Litchfield Park as a child and it is wonderful to know how your father contributed to that community, and so much more. Please convey my condolences to your family during this sad time. Cynthia Herzog

Mike was a very special man whose passion for livable and vibrant communities resonated through all of his work. I've known Mike almost as long as I have been in Arizona. He was a fearless advocate for good planning, and in front of the curve on so many topics. His heart was made of gold. My heartfelt condolences to his family. I am sure I speak for all Arizona planners when I say he will be sorely missed.

Mike was a special man who will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him. My deepest condolences.

To the Cartsonis family:
