A great man,I know he will be missed. First met Emanuel as a kid growing up around Boh Bros in the 50's and 60's,where my dad was a supervisor and where I worked for almost 40 years retiring recently. Had the honor to meet his grandson in Lafayette in January. Sorry I didn't get to see him before his death. May God bless his Family it was an honor to know him.

A World War II Veteran, a hard working man, a darn good husband to mom, a good father to all of us. During segregation, a prayer warrior and like other strong advocates of Seabrook, praying day and night, meeting with members of the NAACP so that we all would be safe. He was a man who loved everybody. He was not only my dad, but like others resting and living today, a legend. Sleep on daddy, take your rest.
