Not sure what to say?

I offer my sincerest condolences on the loss of your loved one. May the "God of all comfort" bring you peace during this troubling time.

Dear Abendroth family, our deepest sympathies are with you all for your loss, and the loss of an amazing neighbor and man as I've grown to know. We were very blessed to have had him in our lives, and he will be greatly missed.

Abbey and Julie have been role models for Doug and I - they have exemplified everything a successful marriage should be. Thank you for your love - rest in peace Abbey.

Abbey was a unique and very kind man. I remember good times with him on his little sailboat when I was a child. He married my husband and I almost 39 years ago and was a treasured friend of my mother's.
Our sympathies to the Abendroth family.
Travis and Jane Martin.

Dear Abendroth Family, may I offer my deepest sorrow for the passing of Abbey. Growing up next door to Julie and Abbey, I remember when I was a boy, Abbey took me out for my first sailing lesson at Shawnee Mission Park. I also remember the many talks Abbey and my father had with regards to the yards and landscape and sharing ideas.

My sincere condolences to Julie. My husband Jim and I lived across the street from you on Outlook many years ago. He just passed away in September, and would have joined me in remembering both of you as wonderful neighbors.

I am grateful for the life of Rev. Abendroth. Thanks to his service and to the service of others in our armed forces, my family and I have been able to lead our lives in freedom and peace.

You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers, Julie. We feel honored to have gotten to spend time with you and Abbey in recent months. With our deepest sympathy,

I grew up in the shadow of Abbey and his generation of those who went from Cambria to preach the Gospel. He was inspiration. Thank God for his gifts and the blessing of a long and good life. May peace eternal be his.
