Emerson W. Knyrim

Emerson was born on December 11, 1930 and passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2018. Emerson was a resident of Montoursville, Pennsylvania at the time of passing. He graduated from Hazleton High School and Penn State University. He served in the U.S. Army Infantry as 1st Lieutenant in Korea from 1954 to 1956, and in the National Guard from 1956 to 1959. At Emerson's request, there will be no visitation or public service, and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Beckoning Cat Project, 1417 East Third St., Williamsport, PA 17701, or your local non-profit no kill animal shelter, as Emerson was an avid animal lover.
