You are remembered "old" roommate.

As a freshman at Ohio University, I was assigned to Washington Hall Du on East Green. During that freshman year, I roomed across the hallway from Dick. We became good friends, so we roomed together our sophomore year. Again, in Washington Hall. In those days, athletes were housed and "main-streamed" with the general student population. On more than one occasion, I was "hit" by footballs bouncing off our dormitory walls. It would be 2 am, and Dick was practicing centering...

Sad news indeed. Dick was a Sigma Nu fraternity brother back in the late 1950s ... at Ohio University. He was always a very personal presence who stood out in a crowd ... always smiling, very warm personality. I haven´t seen Dick for over 50 years, but I´m confident he was still a remarkably presence until the last days of his life. He will be well remembered.
