GOLDEN BOY

Golden boy, our pride and joy,
He no longer reigns in this sphere,
yet leaves behind memories kind
of love, laughter and good cheer.

Smiling through his tragic end
A boy-man, with the most amazing circle of friends, pierced our hearts, brandished our souls,
for the loss of a love- a mystery that has travelled to loftier abodes.

Only 27 Earthly years,
He is now in heaven-
sans pain, fear...

Emery is very special to me. I met him back in 1992 when I worked at Napolis.(down the street from his house) He was so charming and and so cute! Every time I saw him I would always hug him and tell him how special he was to me. I saw him at Randalls back in June. I am glad I got to tell him again. I will never forget you Emery!

I feel for Emery's family and give them my sincerest prayers in their time of sorrow. I only met Emery a few times over the years, he was sincere, kind & intelligent. I felt very honred to meet him each time & I know how very much his family was proud of him.

Emery was the kid that I wish I had as my little brother. Even if he was taller than me, I looked up to him for a entirely different reason. Both he and his brother were more my friends than they will ever know.

I remember Emery walking into a play rehearsal for " You Can't take it with You"-Tall, Lanky, freckle-faced, and that infectious smile. The play was horrible, but the rehearsals were enlightening. Emery opened my eyes to beautiful music, engaging writers, and was a brother in a loving philosophy of living. May those lip-curled pearly whites continue to enlighten us all.

I feel so blessed that Emery was such a big part of my family's life. What an inspiration he is to us all. I will never forget both his brilliant smile and wit. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. God bless you.

I thank God for the very good fortune that I had in knowing Emery Kalinov. Such a beautiful, intelligent spirit who touched so many lives around him. My heartfelt sympathies and prayers go out to his family and to all of his friends. We love you, Emery.

“It is not length of life, but depth of life.” -Emerson

I send my love to Emery's family and friends. He will be missed dearly and loved always.
