Not sure what to say?

It has been awhile since I lived in NWI and I just found out about Jim's passing today from a coworker. First off my thoughts and prayers are with Jim's family and friends. He was battling his health for some time and now at least I know he is home and at peace.

Besides Jim being a family man, he was also a barber. However, Jim was THE BARBER for Merrillville, Indiana. Everybody got their hair cut from him, all my friends from Merrillville High went there to get their hair cut....

Jim and I studied at the same Barber College years ago and we were the two youngest students at the time.... Jimmy was a wonderful person and so very kind and considerate to all ...
My deepest condolences to the Cioni family

I just heard of Jim's passing. We grew up in the same neighborhood. I went to school with Jim from kindergarten through high school and I remember him fondly. He always had a great smile. I used to call him a big teddy bear. He stopped in at our business occasionally and visited. My deepest condolences to the Cioni family.

I just learned of Jim's passing, and I'm sorry you've lost such a gracious, kind man. He was superb at his profession, and his personable work was always an enjoyable experience.

My sympathies to Jim's family. He was a great person, a fabulous barber & a great friend. He'll be missed.

Cioni Family,

We lost a gem of a man this week! I used to be a regular customer of his at Emils Barber Shop for probably 20 years. I, like everyone else, would wait patiently to have only Jim cut my hair. The best part was waiting because we got to listen and enjoy the gossip and discussions before. That Barber Shop was always busy because everyone Loved Jim and his warm personality. I was also fortunate to witness Jim's athletic side as well when we played softball together...

I'm very sorry to hear about the passing of Jim..My deepest sympathies to the family. Jim was a very caring man and I enjoyed the times we spent watching his son Jimmy play baseball with my sons when they were young. His suffering is over and he is now in the Hands of God... I was glad to have know Jim and I wish all his family peace and may God be with them through these hard times.

Elaine and family, I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Wilma Maris Faire, Fishers, In.

With deepest sympathy...Dan & Kathy Yester (Portage)
