Emil Arocha Delgado was born July 21, 1929 in San Antonio, Tx to Emiliano and Louisa Arocha Delgado. He was joined in holy matrimony with Beatrice for 70 years. To this union 4 children were born. Emil joined the Lord January 9, 2020. He was preceded in death by both his parents and son, Richard Delgado. He leaves to cherish his memories: wife, Beatrice Delgado; daughter, Patricia Buckman; son, Robert Delgado; son, Ruben Delgado; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of cousins and friends.


                                                              FUNERAL SERVICES



Visitation will begin on Wednesday, January 15, at 6:00 PM with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM at the Angelus Chapel, 1119 N. St. Mary’s Street, San Antonio, Texas 78215. Visitation will begin on Thursday, January 16, at 9:00 AM with the Funeral Mass to begin at 10:00 AM at St. Anthony’s Church, 16505 Kilowatt Road, Elmendorf, TX 78112. Interment will follow at Delgado Cemetery, 11081 Cassiano Rd, San Antonio, TX 78223.

May Emil be blessed by God and Rest in Peace. I met him many years ago. He was a 5th cousin of mine through my great grandmother's (Cecilia Delgado) line. My deepest condolences to the family.

I am so sorry to hear about Emils passing. I met Emil a few years ago when I began researching our family history. He was a wealth of information and shared freely so much information. Im so blessed for having met him.

Emil was my father-in-laws best friend. They were on every neighborhood committee & school board together. They loved to hunt together and most of all, share each others company. He will be missed but I know that Albert welcomed him with open arms. Prayers to the Delgado Family.
