Not sure what to say?

Dear David and family of Emil, I am so very sorry to read of Emil´s passing. I met Emil while on tour with Les Miserables. We became wonderful friends. I could always count on him to have honest and deep conversations as well as sharing fun times. Your obituary captured him so perfectly, especially when talking about the perfectionist he was and how deeply he cared about so many aspects of his life. I always treasured the time I spent with him. I have a picture of myself that he took which...

Uncle Emil, you left too soon sweet man! Thank you for all the light you shared everywhere you went. Every room was brighter with you in it. The quickest smile in the family, and the twinkliest eyes as well. I did not tell you enough how you living your dreams inspired me. Thank you for being you, truly you. Heaven just got brighter & laughier & more musical! : ) Love to you, Emil! And sending peace & ease to the loves that will miss you most, your David, your friends, your family. Peace,...

Emil always had a smile or a laugh every time he spoke. I can still picture him, brown as a berry, twirling his lifeguard whistle at McComb´s pool. Another favorite memory was traveling with family to Fort Wayne to watch him perform with the orchestra in Les Miserable. My sincere condolences to David and the rest of Emil´s family!

Emil was my best male high school friend. Hundreds of hours to remember. RIP

Emil and I had many tennis matches during high school. A group of us had many fun times.

I was saddened to hear this news. Even as kids, anyone who knew Emil realized he was a very gifted musical artist. A warm and unique person.

So sorry to see this. Emil and I had great times when we worked at the pool. He was always fun and full of laughter. Prayers for the family.

RIP Emil. Give Fred a hug from me.
