Sorry for your loss

Joan, Debbie, Richard , Barbara and all the extended family, we are thinking of you at this time as we cherish the wonderful memories of Uncle Emil and a full life beautifully lived. May it comfort you to know that he was loved and well thought of by so many family and friends, and also that he is no longer suffering. Hoping to see you all at a point sometime soon, and a gathering or a reunion type occasion hopefully can be arranged in the not too distant future where we can reminisce and...

I was sorry to hear the passing of Rev. Mialik. I was a member of Leigh Street when he was there and knew him to be an outstanding minister to the Congregation.
He married my husband, Lee, and myself in August,1967. Joan, my sympathy goes
out to you and your family. My parents
Henry and Genevieve Gordon were so fond of you and Rev. Mialik.

To Joan and the family, I was saddened to hear of the passing of Dr. Mialik. He came into my life at a time when I needed someone like him. We had a great time at Wedgewood Baptist under his leadership. I, too, remember his outstanding artwork and his understanding of lighting and shadow. He never stopped amazing me. His use of light and shadow always astounded me. And, who can forget all the picnics and special meals we had back then. He had some really great ideas about how a church...

All the memories of a remarkable uncle brings a smile to my face. Emil worked hard for the accomplishments he achieved, although his talents made it look easy. He was an uncle who reached out to each member of his extended family time and time again. I'll always remember his trips to NJ and trips visiting him. Serious conversation and joking about everything and anything. A time at bat for his church team. A round on the golf course with him and my dad. His 80th birthday party celebrating his...

Robert R. Brinkley, Jr.

From a Niece who loved you so...I have so many wonderful memories of you, Uncle Emil. I remember my wedding and how you led the wedding train around the ballroom and gave a wonderful toast for Carl and I; our day trip to Boston after cousin Gladys' son's wedding; how you were (immediately) there for my family and I after our Dad's passing and the wonderful eulogy you gave. There are just too many lifetime memories to list. I know you were everyone's favorite friend. Your understanding, love,...
