Not sure what to say?

Coach You remain in my thoughts and prayers. I cherish the time I was a student under your guidance and leadership. May God continue to Bless and Comfort your loved ones! Thank you for all the lessons and values you taught me! God Bless

Coach Your values and principles helped shape me and many other individuals. Thank You!

Coach Milam was such great guy. I enjoyed being in his gym class. I never realized what an impact he had on many people´s lives. Rest easy coach. Your presence here on earth is missed. You taught so many how to carry on. I can´t say enough good about you.

Wonderful Coach and Mentor loved by many. My coach 1972-1975.

Coach Milan was an inspiration to us all. His gift was that he taught each athlete to believe in themselves and amazing things happened because of that! Always in our hearts Coach Milan.

This guy had a sharp memory, as I was only on his "B" team in one meet at Denton in 1972 (Bell won), and he immediately recognized me at Baskin Robbins ice cream store in Hurst circa 1988. He stood at the top of his field of pursuit. And the God's truth is that while I was at Bell High, I once witnessed him doing a mount onto the parallel bars that I have never seen before nor since! I remember some of his understudies who were more intrepid in the sport than I was. He'd have been pleased...

I am very sorry for the loss of your father. I was a younger boy of Jerry's age living the next street over when we all grew up but ran into Emil again in Austin at Texas. Emil had an outstanding life and I know that you are hurting with his loss.

My deepest sympathies for the loss of your father. He was an inspirational coach and mentor for me and has a large place in my heart Susan Norman Blair

My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
