Emil F. Willis Jr.

He was the best brother a young boy could ever have! I still miss him dearly.

I will never forget Emil's unique athleticism as a runner in the early 1980s. Not only did he smoke a cigarette before and after races we did together then, but on the way to a late morning half marathon at the Jersey Shore he insisted on stopping less than an hour before start time and eating a Big Mac. To his credit he kept it down during the race, too. Thinking of Emil will always bring a tenderness to my heart and a smile to my face and a wish to have one more laugh together.

May you rest in peace my wonderful brother. You were my guiding light when we were growing up.

Emil was all of those things so beautifully expressed in the obituary and very very funny. He could see the humor in everything and was a joy to be around for so many people he cared about and enjoyed and whose lives were made immeasurably better by him.
