This makes me so sad. this was one of those rare combinations of intelligence/compassion/empathy/ he always made you feel like you were his one and own priority. The family has my deepest sympathy. this great man left such a legacy.

Doc, i have been thinking about you a lot lately. Hearing that your dear friend Bruce has joined you in Heaven makes me feel so much better. The professionalism you taught me has paid off. I was deeply saddened today to learn of the death of one of my dearest friends, Dr. Emile LaBranche, III, M.D.

My wife, Dr. Jayne H. Brown M.D., and I, send our fervent prayers and sincere condolences to the entire LaBranche family, especially, Anne and Karen.

Our infrequent visits to New Orleans will now be less meaningful since Emile will not be present.

R.I.P. My brother, and may your spirit join those of our ancestors.

Dr. LaBranche was my doctor, my confidant, and my therapist. I was his patient for over twenty years and I owe so much to his meticulous care of me and my family. When he retired I made it a point to ask after him and was heartbroken to find out yesterday he had taken his place with the Lord. I will miss you and your family has my sincerest condolences. RIP DR. LaBranche

My heartfelt condolences go out to the LaBranche family. He was my doctor for a long time at Crescent City, but more importantly he was my friend and brother. I was saddened to learn of his passing recently as he had just retired, and I'm sure was looking forward to kicking back and enjoying life with his family. He earned it as he was a very hard working and great doctor. I will miss him dearly, may God bless him and the LaBranche family, may he rest in peace.

To Karen LaBranche Thomas and LaBranche family, I would like to express my sincere condolences.

Our heartfelt condolences go out all of Emile's family members. Emile, Anne, Evan and Erin were our cherished friends and neighbors in New Orleans for many years. Emile was a respected colleague of Wendell's, well known for his judgement, skills and calm in all situations. May his soul rest in peace. From Wendell Wilson and family.
