Not sure what to say?

To friends and family. My deepest sympathy to the loss of Emilie. Wishing your family peace in this time of grief. I had the pleasure to grow up with Emilie as a pseudo-big-sister and I admired her. Emilie, you will be missed.

With much love,
Debbie (Portland)

Steve,

I left you a personal message at Emilie's gmail address. You and those precious little boys (now even more precious!) are in our heartfelt prayers especially at Mass.

Our families prayers and sympathy . . . thank you for sharing your wife and mother's words and wisdom . . . Mary Ann

Steve and family: please accept our sincere sympathy on the death of Emilie. Although we didn't know her personally, we did follow her story through our daughter Cindy. There has been lots of prayers for you and your entire family during this difficult time. God be with you, and keep you in his hands.

Steve and family, I am so sorry for your lost. I only knew Emilie through my daughter, Cindy. Since then we have prayed for her, and for you also. God will take care of you both now, and we will continue to pray for you.

Dear Stephen,

May you find comfort in the memories that live on forever in your heart. And may you draw strength from heaven and from family and friends that love you dearly. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. With deep sympathy!

Stephen, Daniel and Benjamin:

I am so sorry for your loss. I read Emilie's blog and Catholic Spirit articles. She was an amazing writer and knew how to bring the word of God closer to us. Our family was praying for her ever since she wrote of her diagnosis. We will continue to keep your family in our prayers.

I am also a new blog reader who never had the chance to know this lovely woman during her lifetime. I feel a loss over that and can only imagine the loss present in the lives of her husband, sons, parents, siblings and close firends. There are no easy words and it is easy to give cheap adivce. I will not do so, but will keep her family and friends in my thoughts and prayers. Time does heal all wounds and Emilie's will take a long time to heal.
Hugs and prayers,

A Mom

Steve, What an amazing woman Emilie was ... I only knew her (and her 3 boys!) through blogspot, but I have been following for a while and wanted to express my admiration for her and my sympathy for you and the boys ... may God bless you all and keep you close in his arms!
