I just want to assure the family that there is no doubt in my mind that my Dad (Nestor Lujan) will be at the gate to greet Emilie into Heaven and will take good care of her. My Dad thought the world of Emilie and I am sure that in no time at all the two will be running buses up there.

A bright candle has just been extinguished. I liked her style, she knew what she wanted, and how to get it. I learned a lot from Emilie while I worked for her. We didn't always agree, but we got along fine. I will always remember her and miss her! Till we meet again, and we will! God Speed!

I had the pleasure of working with Emily and her husband, Gilbert, for many years during my tenures as Superintendent of PVS. They were both hard-working, honest people who ran an excellent bus service for PVS for many years. I will always remember Emily for her sharp mind and negotiating skills. We always came to amiable agreements for the benefit of safe and reliable transportation for the students. She also donated a lot of trips for special occasions that were not in her contract. ...
