Emilio R. DeLeon, 19, of Grand Island died Monday, Aug. 16, 2010, as a result of a construction accident. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church at 12th and Wheeler Streets. The Rev. Michael Reiners will officiate. Burial will be in the Grand Island City Cemetery....

Thinking of your family now and always! Although we never had the pleasure of meeting Emilio, just knowing some of the family tells me he must have been a very special gift! What a blessing that God chose you to share him with. And now he will peacefully be looking down on you from Heaven. His love for you is everlasting and his memory will live on in everyone's hearts forever!

uncle albert and aunt diane,
i cant tell you how much i am still hurting from this horrible event. i cant even imagine how all of you are feeling, i cant even compare. i think of the times when we actually did come up there to visit and the time all of us cousins spent with each other at grandmas house, aunt rocky's house, and actually everyones house pretty much. i still cant come to terms with his passing. whenever i can stray away from the thought of him not being with us physically,...

My heart aches for you,and I am so sorry for your loss of your beauitful son.
He touched so many lives.He truly lived
the way that God wants us all to live.
I had a dream of Rocky and she told me she was going away for awhile. I kissed her good-bye and her cheek felt so smooth and cool. She didn't say where she was going. I do know now that she was going to be there for Emilio when God called him home.
We have another Angel in Heaven to watch...
