Not sure what to say?

Dear Jeanette,
I am so terribly sorry and sad about
Emily. My heart just aches for you
and your family. I will always re-member the spunk and vitality that
Emily had and her bright sunshiney
smile. When I last saw you guys there was so much excitement in the
hope that she would get well, I did
not even know she was sick until then. Emily was ready to tackle
anything and with such a robust
attitude. She was totally courageous and...

I didn't know Emily very well as I had only met her a few times. I do know though, that through my friends, the Lauers, that she was a very brave soul. We prayed for her and kept in touch regarding her illness through the Lauers. I know through all that I have heard that she was very much loved. She will be missed and she is with God. Go chase the butterflies Emily.

There are no words that can adequately convey the feelings generated by the loss of a child. We are so deeply sorry for Emily's struggle and this difficult time for her family. Try to find some comfort in the knowledge that you will re-unite in heaven; we, and certainly many others, are praying for you all.

Emily, you are forever a part of our lives. Your strength, bravery, and spunkiness will inspire us all, always. I know that someday when we, too, are in heaven we will understand God's plan for you. Until then we just have to have faith that He knows what is best. We will miss you. Love, Uncle John, Aunt Elaine, & Cory

Emily was my best friend. She was the best friend anyone could have had. It was a blessing to me that we were next door neighbors and grew up together. She was a very strong and very brave 11 year old. I will miss her very much. I know she is in a much better place because she is in heaven with God. Thank you for everyone's prayers and support for her family at this time. Love, Sami

To the family of Emily,

I have never met you nor had the privilege of knowing your daughter, but I was touched by her photo. I am the mother of an 11 year old girl and I cannot even imagine the pain that you are feeling. Know that I care and my heart goes out to you. You are in my thoughts and prayers that God will ease your grief and bring to the forefront the years that you had with your precious Emily. She will live forever in your hearts.

I am so very sorry...

For the world is your stage, Miss Emily. We've shared so much and are forever grateful. Thank you for your selflessness. You touched so many without ever meeting but for a short while. The strength and light of "Firecracker"s :)
Love Mommy, Dalton and Grandma

We want to send our condolences to the entire family of Emily. We pray for all of you every day. God is with each of you and will guide you through your paths ahead. Emily was very special to her cousins, Kaytlan and Kaycee and to her Uncle Aaron and myself. Emily was a blessing to all of us and showed us all the true meaning of strength. We will all remember her precious smile. God loves her and each one of you.
Love in Christ,
Aaron and Lori Hedrick

My dear Miss Emily,
The love you share surrounds me on this Mother's Day. Except for your physical absence, you are most definitely with me. I feel your warmth, your love, your smile, your hug, the essence of you all around me. Thank you for giving of yourself on this special day. We'll never be apart from each other. My love forever, Mommy
