Not sure what to say?

To the Hoffman family, I am sorry to hear about Betty's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Find peace in knowing she is in a better place and many thoughts are with you.

My mother, Eileen Eakes was her next door neighbor, on Elm Avenue, and I remember her fondly. She was quite a lady.

I am truly sorry to hear that Mrs. Hoffman is no longer with us. I have only know Mrs. Hoffman for a short time but I am blessed to have met her. With her smile, kindness and pleasant manner you always wanted to be where she was. She always knew how to brighten your day. Mrs. Hoffman was so pleased with the small things in life. Dear Stokes and family,
Betty was always one of my favorite cousins. When I was a little girl, visiting the family, she always played with me, taught me how to eat fried oysters, and fed me wonderful goodies. The last time we were in NN was at least 10 years ago, and our fond memories will remain with us forever. Please know that our love, prayers and sympathy are with you all.
