Not sure what to say?

I just found out today of your passing. I'm filled with many wonderful memories of you as my teacher. I recall you were the first person I saw after walking the stage of graduation and when I asked if it was ok to cry, you responded "No no, not yet the camera is around the corner." You will be missed by so many RIP.

I can't believe it's been a year since you left us. I have thought of you often and miss being able to message you on Facebook. I wish you were still here but hope to see you again someday. Thinking of your parents as well on this difficult anniversary.

We are so sorry for her untimely passing. Please accept or condolences. We got to know Emily when she was in my NEH summer seminar in Europe. She was a wonderful participant.

I met Emily 10 years ago as part of an NEH summer teacher seminar where we spent time in England, The Netherlands and Belgium. Emily was my next door door mate in Leiden where we stayed for a month. We became friends and traveled together on free weekends to Delft, Utrecht and Apeldoorn. Emily was a great person who I hoped to see again someday but alas it didn't happen. I loved her personality--tough, funny, sarcastic with a great smile and infectious laugh! She was a big presence in our...

It has been several years since Emily and I worked together at IFHS. Time and distance did not erase the memory of the sound of her voice yelling "Murph" when she saw me walking in the hallway or lecturing in my classroom; or the memory of the sound of her laughter when she enjoyed a joke that she had told; or the memory of the excitement that she showed when her students did well on a class assignment. I remember enjoying after school snacks in her classroom office and listening to her...

Emily was saucy and spicy, with an amazing sweetness on top. Her big personality was only overshadowed by her enormous heart. She cared deeply for those who had the privilege of being in her sphere. She will be missed. May she rest in peace!

Emily was a great teacher. She will be missed by many.

Emily 's life was authentic. She touched the lives of many. Emily always had a good story to share and made you feel welcome. We stopped to visit her in Idaho Falls just 5 years ago and we enjoyed our tour of the town and it's surroundings. But most of all we enjoyed her spirit.

Some people shine so brightly that everyone else’s lives become a little brighter. I miss you my friend. Rest In Peace.
