Emily was a dear friend and we kept in touch until she passed. We worked together at the Pima County Attorney´s Office for many years. After we retired we kept in touch, going to lunch and talked on the phone on a regular basis. Emily was a true "Southern Belle" and she had class; and never minced words when she had an opinion. I first met Emily on May 4th, 2022, while visiting my friend, Andrea Ruark. During my week´s stay I visited often with Emily and soon began to love her. I was at her home for Mothers Day (May 8th, 2022), and marveled at her sense of humor and cherished our conversations.
