Not sure what to say?

My heart goes out to Emily's family and friends. We all loved her. Not a day goes by that I don't think of something from our college days at Flagler that involved Em. I loved seeing her smiling face and hearing her laugh. I miss her very much.

My heart goes out to the Norton and Jesen Families. Emily was a dear friend for many years. She was a fighter and a wonderful friend. I think of her everyday. I will miss her, but I will say evertime I think of Em it puts a smile on my face. We never had bad time always good times. I will never forget her and I will always love her.

GOD BLESS THE FAMILY FOR HAVING THIS WONDERFUL WOMAN IN YOUR LIFE.

Love You All

The entire Norton family was very special to me during my teaching, coaching, and administrative years at Northeast. Emily was a wonderful student and young person. I am sure she had a positive impact on others during her life. My sympathy goes out to her entire family. (Coach) Ralph Nelson

Emily and I worked together 30 years ago at Kennedy school. She was a very special lady and one I will always remember.
Several years ago we ran into each other at an evening event at the Southern Museum of Flight. It was good to see her and your family.
I am really sorry for your loss. Take comfort in knowing that Emily did many good things for children and helped to make the world a better place.

You are someone I will never forget.

To Emily's Family:
We, the Northeast High School Class of 1968 (McLeansville, North Carolina), express our deepest sympathy. It was 40 years ago in June that we all graduated and Emily's life and legacy is to be celebrated and remembered. May God continue to bless all of you with his continued grace and mercy. I WILL ALWAYS CHERISH OUR FRIENDSHIP WHICH LASTEST OVER 45 YEARS. I HAVE GREAT MEMORIES OF EMILY AND HER FAMILY. SHE WAS A FIGHTER OF THIS HORRIBLE DISEASE AND FOUGHT WITH GREAT DIGNITY. I LOVE YOU EMILY AND MISS YOU.
