Not sure what to say?

Emily and family, there is no possible way that anyone will forget her she is forever a tattoo on this whole community's heart. she had a brightness in her eyes and a determand personality that would make anyone want to do their best because she told them that they could. she was the person who told me to do softball for the first time. i was scared and she told me to go for it and try something new. i love emily ann swanson with all my heart and cant wait to see her in heaven, with that...

This softball season will not be the same without her. She will be missed. Our favorite memory is the time the girls flipped the boat at the softball party and Emily came out to help. Remember that you live a community with many arms to hug and ears to listen. You cannot wear us out, ever. Take care.

Emily was more than just a teamate to me. Over the years we became great friends. She knew when you needed a hug, or a laugh, or even just a smile and she would give it to you. She was an amazing person, always the first to ask what's wrong, always the first to care. Its not fair that shes gone, but it is such a blessing that i got to know her. I truly believe she is lighting up heaven and starting her won softball league.

Dave, Kim, Bryan and Megan -
We have loved getting to know your family over these short years, you guys are special. We will miss Emily very much! My favorite memory of Emily was from New Year's Eve and how much our little dog loved her! Remember she was licking her face, chewing on her pontail and wouldn't leave Emily alone. I will always remember Emily laughing from that night with her big smile.

You do not need me to tell you what a tragic loss Emily's death is to all of us who knew her. She was a welcome visitor to our house over the years. Her legacy is to inspire her friends to be as she was, and for them to treasure their time with each other. She will not be forgotten, and our thoughts and hearts are with you at this time.

Today, it has been a month since we lost Emily. There is not a day goes by that I don't think of her. I have a large picture of her at my desk in the office. It sounds crazy, but I talk to her often.
She was, is, and always be an inspiration to all of us.
In a way, she has thought all of us a lesson in life..to be happy, to love and cherish eachother..Often I think that was her purpose in life.
LOVE YOU KIDDO...

Our hearts and prayers continue to be with you. What a wonderful tribute Emily was to your family. Her young life touched so many people in such a positive way. Her gift of kindness and encouragement will continue on with so many. GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

Dearest Dave, Kim, Bryan and Megan,

You know how special your family is to us. Your loss is our loss. We are still grieving. Emily will always have a place in our heart. I will always treasure her smiles and kindred spirit.

May the Lord continue to comfort you and give peace in your hearts knowing that she's nestled in our Father's arms.

We are always here for you.

Love and prayers,

A bright light and a hope is lost - and our hearts hurt with you as you experience one of the worst things that could happen to any of us. I'm amazed at how a young girl by just living her everyday life made such an impact. The hope is that we all respond to her loss by becoming all we are meant to be with the knowledge that we get to see our daughter and friend and sister and softball player girl with the giant smile again. We miss her so and send gi-nourmous hugs and prayers of comfort...
