Emily L. Wilson

Miss Wilson was our advisor for The Spectrum, Parma Senior High's yearbook. She worked hard making sure it would be what we all would want it to be. Also had her for Sr. English. A great teacher. PSH 59.

Teacher, Friend, Confidant, Mentor, we shared annual Christmas messages since I graduated from her class in l956. She encouraged me to write my memoirs 'Making Waves in the Gene Pool' and I continue teaching memoir writing to assisted living residents to this day. One of a kind, steadfast in my life, thankful for her example and humanities. Carol Vogler Bright

I had the privilege of having Miss Wilson for a teacher in 1963-4 at Parma Senior High School. What a marvelous teacher and remarkable woman she was. I also had the good fortune to see her on occasion at Parma South Presbyterian Church over the years. Miss Wilson always retained that great smile, warm personality, and a mind as sharp as a tack. She will be missed by many, but the world is a better place for her having been here.

I was a student of Miss Wilson at Parma Senior High. Besides teaching the fun of reading and discussing British literature, she treated as young adults. She helped prepare us for that post secondary step. I look back fondly on that senior year and Advance English IV. Thank you Miss Wilson!
