ALMOST A YEAR SINCE THE WORLD LOST EMITT RHODES.... I LISTEN TO HIS MUSIC OFTEN, HIS DEBUT ALBUM ONE OF THE BEST OF ALL TIME, IN MY OPINION. SUCH A TALENTED MAN....REST IN PEACE, SINCERELY, WAYNE COLLINS, BALTIMORE, MARYLAND

I loved the man. He made life a lot better for many.

A genius, a pioneer, a towering influence. If your life was half as beautiful as your music, you lived a very rich life. Thank you for your gifts.

I was deeply sadden to hear of Emitt's passing. I first met Emitt when he was in the Palace Guard and I was into photography, capturing many of the bands at the Hullabaloo and then when he went on to form the Merry Go Round. We are all so lucky to have had him in our lives and to have his last album as a final gift to us all. My condolences to his family, rest in peace dear friend.
