Not sure what to say?

I remember going out to the "country" to visit grandmaw cockerham when i was little. for whatever reason, i remember eating scrambled egg sandwiches with mayo...it's funny what stands out in our mind about people sometimes. may God bless her soul.

I AM THE MATERNAL GRANDMOTHER OF TONY COCKERHAM'S CHILDREN AND HAVE HAD THE PRIVILEDGE OF VISITING WITH MAWMAW COCKERHAM A FEW TIMES, ALONG WITH THE CHILDREN. SHE WAS SUCH A SWEET LADY AND EVER SO HUMBLE. SHE REMINDED ME OF JESUS. I REGRET NOT VISITING HER MORE.

We were blessed to have grandmaw Cockerham with us for Christmas a time or two. She was a very loving person who enjoyed current photos of the family. She was very kind in sharing hers with me. We will pass them along to our children as well.

Mamaw Cockerham was quite a unique woman. I didn't know her all too well since I was a great grandchild of hers but I do remember going to visit her and remembering how awesome I thought it was that she braided her long silver hair everyday and how she had such large fish in her pond because she feed them everyday. She'll be greatly missed. (Middle child of Tony Cockerham who is oldest child of Robert E. Cockerham)

There have been angels in my life.
While they haven't arrived with a blast of trumpets, or a rustle of wings, I've know them just the same. They performed their acts in human guise, sometimes borrowing the face of family or friends. Aunt Emma was one of these, always ready with a hug and her beautiful smile, and to share whatever she had.I'll never forget my summers with her as a child and a teenager. Her spirit and my memory of her lives on. I'll always love her. Carolyn

I can remember going out to Aunt Emma's as a child. She always cooked something good for us. She was such a sweet lady and I'll miss her very much.
