Dear Carolyn and Family,
After checking several days for a notice with little success, I finally googled Emma Jane Correll and found her. I know she would have found this to be quite humerous.

Dear Carolyn and family--We read of your mother's death in the Rockford paper this morning and finally succeeded in finding this after church today. We would like to get to Bement on Tues., but it depends on the weather and road conditions. Thinking of you and your family. Your parents were great people and friends.
