Jan. 21, 1929 - Mar. 23, 2017 A life time resident of Prichard, AL and retired educator with Mobile County Public School System, departed this life for eternity on Mar. 23, 2017 at home surrounded by family. Visitation will be at Pilgrim Rest AME Zion Church, 125 Greer Ave., Whistler, AL. on April 1, 2017 from 9AM to 11AM the funeral hour.

We have lost another angel to go home to our Lord. Mrs. Dexter was a great christian and a person in and out. My prayers are with your family.

We are praying and asking GOD to give the family strength for the loss of Cousin Emma. She will be truly missed by us all. No pain no sickness no more suffering from this old world. Cousin Emma is at Rest with our LORD now. So You Rest In Peace now Cousin Emma Dexter, Love You from Mr. and Mrs. Littorah Bolar and family.

God has allowed us "memories" and we will be able to think back and remember a remarkable and successful life; one that was filled with so much joy and laughter. Ms. Emma Dexter shared her joy of life and touched so many people. She will be greatly missed. May God's love and His Comforter surround her family and each of us as we journey on.

Mrs. Dexter taught me typing at Theodore High School back in the 80's. My prayers for the family. She was a very nice person
