Emma Raquel Gamez, 80 of Patterson passed away Friday, December 20th at the English Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Modesto.
Mrs. Gamez was born in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, MX and was a resident of Patterson for 57 years. She was a homemaker, a parishioner at Sacred Heart Catholic Church and enjoyed playing Bingo.
Mrs. Gamez is survived by her husband of 59 years, Thomas Gamez, Sr. of Patterson; sons, Tom Gamez, Jr. of Modesto, Joe Gamez of Patterson, Jerry Gamez of Auburn, CA and Danny Gamez of Patterson; daughters, Miros Gamez-Jensen of Texas and Lupe Gamez-Spangler of Roseville; brother, Cenovio Morales of Arkansas; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her grandchild.
A Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, Thursday, December 26th followed by an Evening Service at 7:00 pm at Hillview Funeral Chapel in Patterson. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, December 27th at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Patterson. Interment to follow at the Patterson District Cemetery in Patterson.
