Emma always made all of our audiovisual teammates smile when we walked in the door to the department. She was interested in everyone's well-being and genuinely cared about us. Cara and Jayne, my thoughts and prayers are with you. Your mom was so special!

Every now and then, someone enters your life and instantly becomes a special friend. For Emmalee and me, Emma was just such a person...."character" might be a better word. She was such a good friend to our buddy Earl Barber and was such a good "help mate" to him in his later years. She made a point of saving my soup containers and would return the empties with a request for the next batch, which she always seemed to enjoy.
She was a dear heart with a strong opinion on just about...

Emma was a once-in-a-lifetime, larger-than-life, beloved friend! I will be forever grateful and blessed for having known and loved her. She was nothing less than a force of nature! All of us - her friends, her Moravian sisters and brothers, and all who were touched by her incredible life are so much better for having had her in our lives. Her sense of humor will reverberate for millenia! Bless you, Cara and Jayne - and thanks for sharing Emma with us (like you had a choice?) I know...
