Not sure what to say?

I was at Preston Hollow from 1985-91. Mrs. Johnson was certainly one of the most memorable teachers there and truly left a big impression on all the kids. I, too, still remember the 50 Nifty States like it was yesterday. Just thinking of her classroom and the patriotic jingles on the old overhead projector make me smile today. I wish there were more people like Sue Johnson! She was one of a kind

We think of Sue and Roy at least several times a week. We miss them so much and are grateful for the time we had with them. David and Ray

Who could forget those wonderful white styrofoam hats with the red white and blue? Waving them right and left to the music, Fifty Nifty United States indeed.

She was my teacher at Preston Hollow, I always admired her energy and life. I was in her home-room when the current mascott was suggested by her home room and chosen and remains to this day. She and her husband made a huge impact on every student. I literally spoke of her yesterday not knowing she had passed. I remember she had special black curtains for her room so she could show us slides of her trips, a key point was that if you didn't smoke cigarettes, you could spend the same money...

Mrs.Johnson a wonderful and loving person. She will truly be missed.

A good friend and patron of the organ in Maine and elsewhere. She and Roy helped many young students by encouraging them in various ways to pursue their vocations in music. She will be missed

Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut...... How many people do you know who can recite the 50 states in alpha order by memory? I'm one, and that's just one of the things she taught her little puddlejumpers at Preston Hollow. She was a grand lady, and well loved by so many, and you can't ask for much better than that, can you? Well done thou good and faithful servant. We will see you again around the bend.

Sue and Roy were wonderful folks. It was a joy knowing them.

A wonderful teacher! A wonderful person!
