I remember when Aunt Marie helped me while I was babysitting my niece and nephew, Emily and James. She came by with a casserole. Meal preparation was/is not my strong suit, so it was greatly appreciated. At other times, I recall how she made everyone feel special. Marie's is quite the legacy! We will miss her quiet charm.

I remember Miss Mast from Hamilton as well. She was a warm, kind woman who always took time to talk to a child. After forty years my recollection of her is still as clear as ever. She was a positive, unforgettable educator and she and her family are in my prayers at this time.

Marie was a very good friend of our family for many, many years and she was also my Sister's Godmother. I visited Marie a year ago when we were in Buffalo and I called her on her birthday in April and had a delightful conversation. I remember Miss Mast from Hamilton Elementary School in Tonawanda (1963-1968) with very fond memories. I would occasionally run into her shopping at Wegman's. She always looked the same. She was such a nice, sweet lady. My thoughts are with you.
