Not sure what to say?

To the family and friends of Emmett.... He lived life to the fullest..... He spoke kind words to all he encountered......his friendship should be duplicated in all of us. Dr Ron Turner

To Edwina, I have thought of you and Emmett so often since having left Macon over 20 years ago. The two of you gave me strength and confidence as a young girl trying to make her way in the fashion industry. Your support, advice and belief in me has meant more to me than you may ever know. Together you and Emmett taught me how to be happy and successful in life and for
that I truly am grateful. Emmett touched mine and many other peoples lives in such a positive manner. Peace be...

Edwina you won't remember us but we sincerely want to extended our deep and sincere sympathy. We use to see you often at Animals and Things and felt your work for the
Humane Society was wonderful. Your
husband was such a part of Macon as you have been. God be with you and your family. The family of the late Bibb County Coroner A.R. King, Jr. and Jane Dunwody King.

Emmett is so much a part of the Sea Island summer memories of our family over many years. We have fond memories of converstions at the Beach Club and on the veranda of Emmett and Edwina's wonderful home. Somehow we can't imagine his not being down there when we go. We have very special memories and will miss him; he was so much bigger than life. Wallace, Ann, Ansley and Stuart Tillman

Dr. Barnes, and the rest of the family, I know you will miss him. My thoughts and prayers to you.

I was sad to hear about Mr. Emmett.
i remember when my father was working in the garden Mr. Emmett was having built. My father did the tile work. He spoke very highly of you both. My heart goes out to the family.

Emmett was my special friend, I am going to miss him, but I will always remember all the good advice he gave me through the years. Thanks, Emmett, for being who you were!

Our deepest sympathy goes to you and your family.

Edwina: You are in our thoughts and prayers during this sad time. Mr. Barnes was our neighbor in the 1970s and I always admired him. God bless you. - Marc
