Emmett Craig, Jr., at West Jefferson Medical Center, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 9, 2013. Husband of the late Irene Craig. Father of Toni Bartholomew, Gail, Geraldine and Emmett Craig III and the late Cynthia Craig. Son of the late Emmett Craig, Sr. and Rosie Hardge Craig. Brother of Albert Craig, Evora Savage, Rose Morris, the late Mozel Craig, Robert Craig and George Lee Craig. Also survived by a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Age 74 years. A native of Bolton, MS and resident of Marrero, LA. Emmett served in the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Army. He was a retired truck driver for Gulf Supply.
Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Second Zion Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Services at Second Zion Baptist Church, 6520 2nd Zion Ave., Marrero, LA on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. Visitation 8:00 a.m. until service time at the Church. Interment: Biloxi National Cemetery, Biloxi, MS.
