Not sure what to say?

I miss you every single day!

I still miss you every single day....

Lila,
My thoughts and prayers are with you. The two of you had been together so long it must create such an emptiness. My wish is that the good memories will help heal the pain.
Emmett was always such a light. I didn't see him often but when I did I was always met with a smile and his trademark laugh. He will always hold a special place in my heart.
Norm Dewhurst

The loss of a brother-in-law and a real friend. His Irish humor will be missed by all who knew him. All of us will keep the wonderful memories we have and smile when we think of Emmett. Lila and family, know we are always with all of you. Love to each of you.

Aunt Lila...and the whole family;
I was shocked to hear the news. Everything has happened so quickly, I'm sure you're probably still trying to process it all.
Hold fast to memories of the good times, and take comfort in knowing you are loved. I know that Uncle Emmett will always watch over you all. You will know he is near, and I hope you smile when you know he is with you. Time will help heal the pain of loss, and love of family and friends will carry you onward.
Love you to...

As we used to sing together at Tri County, "Everybody's beautiful, in their own way". Thinking of you Lila.

Lila,
My deepest sympathy to you and your family. I knew Emmett when we were in the 217th Medical Battalion. Emmett at all times had "guts" which Ernest Hemingway defined as "grace under pressure". Emmett was an officer
and a gentleman and will be remembered and missed by all
who knew him.

Jim Hilton

You have been in my thoughts Lila, especially today. I felt like I've known Emmett for years just from our conversations,I am so happy to have finally met him. My prayers are with you and your family.

Jolene Perrine

Holding you in our thoughts and wishing you and your family peace.

With heartfelt sympathy,
Amy and Adam Baker
