I did not know Emmit well, but I know it is hard loosing people you care about. My prayers are with the family and friends.

Emmett we will miss you. I remember always having room for you at mom and dad's table and listening to you tell your stories. Ron says you really knew the woods round here and the plants and roots that were good for harvest. Now the harvest is ready for you and the crops are plenty. God's comfort to your family for I know they will miss you until they see you again.

We will always remember Emmett as we visited our in-laws and he would come by for coffee and a chat. God Bless you in your loss.

Emmett could bring forth the best tasting garden vegetables we've ever eaten. He was always generous and would bring some by. I'm gonna miss that little blue truck working it's way slowly down the road in front of my house with a trail of dogs trying to keep up with their master.
We'll see you again, Emmett. Gonna miss you till then.

Emmett was a dear friend to us and visited in our home many times. He shared his produce from his garden often. We often shared our lives with each other over a cup of coffee. We will miss him.

Deepest Sympathy during your time of loss. My Dad was Billy Gene Hays. I believe he was Mr. E. Hays 2nd cousin. Deepest sympathy from the Billy Gene Hays family
