We still hold on to our wonderful memories of the times we spent with Emmett, especially our trips to Hawaii and Mexico. May he rest in peace as we continue to cherish our memories.

Teleflora's Quiet Expressions

I had the pleasure of working with Emmett at the beginning of his legal career and was always impressed with his warmth, his intelligence, and his quick wit. He was easy to talk to, good with a joke, and I always pictured him with that wry smile on his face. My condolences to his family/partner/friends. I am saddened by his passing. I had the great pleasure of working for Emmett. He was a true light in this world.

As part of Emmett´s Hill Middle School Family in Naperville, we are deeply saddened by the loss of Emmett. We love the Shaughnessy Family! So many thoughts and prayers go out to all of you.

Emmet was obviously handsome, intelligent and accomplished, a bright light, extinguished before it had a chance to fully shine. May you...

He was incredibly funny and the best host/entertainer of guests I've ever been around. He could turn someones day around with a joke and he did so on countless occasions. I am deeply saddened by his passing but I take solace in the fact that his...
