Grandpa, I am so sad that your gone, but so grateful for all the memories that i have of you! I will love you forever and think of you always!

Emmit was a great person, wonderful friend and a joy to be around. I had the pleasure of knowing Emmit for 30 years and spent much of my childhood life around the Dalton's. He, Connie and the entire family always made me feel welcome and part of the family. I will never forget walking through the Dalton door and hearing him say "How ya doin' Katheleen". It is a welcome I will miss. Rest in peace Emmit. You will be missed and never forgotten.

grandpa you were great friend to me. i love you and will miss you very much. I will never forget you.

Emmit was such a wonderful man, he was like a father to me, we shared tons of laughs together and a few cries, everyone who knew him loved him and he meant so much to all of his friends and family. He was a very special person one of a kind, so funny, carring and generous, he would give the shirt off his back for anyone who needed it. I will miss all the talks we shared about the grandkids (all the crazy things they would say and come up with), his beautiful Connie, and about his "BIG" and...

What is said about Emmit above is so true, he was always smiling and a joy to be around. He was a great grandfather to my grandchildren and I want to thank him and Connie for that. My heart and prayers go out to all of the family. Remember him and smile as he would want you to. Love, Theresa (Gma T)
