Dear Garner Family,

I wanted to offer my condolences. I just ran across this information. I grew up next door to Emmit and his brother Gregory. I always wondered what happened to him and glad to know that he did so well in life.

Mr. Garner was a great man and instructor to me at the UFCA class of 2012 he will surely be missed and I send my prayers and condolences to his family!

To the Garner Family. my sincere condolence on your/and all our loss. Emmit was a true gentlemen, always had a twinkle of energy in that he was easy to like and tried to get to know and befriend people and help out in anyway he could. From his descriptions of the work he did at Ford Motor Company, he seemed to have helped many folks with benefit administration in their saddest of moments, yet always was sure to leave that glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel to be travelled ahead.
