Not sure what to say?

My heart was saddened to hear that Mr. Matt had passed away. He had become my Savannah State dad after I lost my dad. He often called to check on me as I travel to work. If there was a traffic back up or an accident on 16 he would call me and say "mama you alright, I heard about something going on 16?" I would answer "yea suga I'm alright! His reply was "Mighty fine" Last week when traffic was heavy, I got to my office and waited for my call but I didn't get one. I began to cry at my desk....

I fondly remember "Mr. Matt" as my co-worker during my employment at Savannah State. I am sadden to hear this news. Mr. Matt truly loved SSU. Emory, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this very difficult time.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

My prayers goes out to you and your family during the lost of your love one my prayers are with you and know that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord May God continue to cover you with his grace and mercy.

To the Matthews Family and All those who loved Mr. Matt,

There are no words to express my friend who was affectionately called "Mr. Matt". I will remember all of the fond memories of laughs and encouraging conversations we shared over the years at Savannah State. He always had a smile, a gentle nature, and a helping hand.

We also shared a private memory, when he came to my rescue late one night after work. A possum was between me and my car, determined not to move. Thank God for...

To the Matthews Family,
Mr. Matthews and I worked at SSU together for many years. My prayer is that God will give you strength during this difficult time.

My condolences to the family. May God continue to be with you all and give you all strength during this difficult time.

Emory, my sincere condolences to you and your family during this difficult time. I pray for your peace and understanding during this time. You are in my prayers. Your co-worker, Andrea.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.
