Enid P. Miller, 88, of Fort Collins passed away on Friday, March 19, 2010. Born on May 20, 1921, in Greeley to Wallace W. and Bertha F (Deudek) Elliott, Enid was raised in Ault, graduating from Ault High School. While in high school she met Alvin L. Miller and they were married on October 15, 1940, in Fort Collins and they spent sixty-five wonderful years together before Alvin's passing in 2005. Together, Enid and Alvin operated Miller Brothers Construction Company and Elliott Miller Construction Company, and in later years enjoyed their winter home in Mesa, AZ. She was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church in Fort Collins and, recently, of Faith Evangelical Free Church. Enid felt very fortunate to be able to support a number of Christian missionary efforts through the years; and she loved to travel. Surviving Enid are her sons, Rex Miller and his wife Lonna of Fort Collins, and Bruce Miller and his wife Lynn of Mesa, Arizona. Also surviving is Rex and Lonna's son, Dennis Ramey of Rockport, Texas, and three children; Enid's brother, John Elliott and his wife Joyce of Magnolia Springs, Alabama; and a niece, Arlene Rich and her husband, Fran, of Wenatchee, Washington. A memorial service will be held at the Allnutt Funeral Service Drake Chapel at a date to be announced. Memorial contributions may be made to Pathways Hospice in care of Allnutt Funeral Service, 650 West Drake Road, Fort Collins, CO 80526.
