On December 20th or 21st, you would buy the bacala, soak it for three days, then boil it, saving the broth for soup. Clean it by hand off the bone, then make your bacala soup, salad, and sauteed. I am sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Lieggi may he Rest In Peace and my sincere condolences to his wife and family.
