HE WAS AN INSPIRATION TO THE ART OF SINGING AND LIT A FIRE WITHIN OUR ARTISTIC HEARTS AND MINDS.
HE WAS A VERY KIND AND CARING TEACHER AND COLLEAGUE. AND THE STUDENTS HERE AT SPC ADORED HIM.

Danny & I would also like to add our sincerest condolences to the entire DiGiuseppe family on the passing of Enrico "Ricky" DiGiuseppe. I was fortunate enough to have grown up around "Ricky", as I always called him for 45 years, and opera my entire life. My grandfather, Francesco Marchese, also wrote operatic plays. For this, I became a more rounded, artistic and cultured individual. I first met Ricky when I was about 5 years old, through his brother, John, who was dating, and then...

I met Mr. Di Giuseppe when he moved back to south Phila..I am his Prudential Insurance agent...Please accept my condolences on this sad occasion..I enjoyed our conversations about opera and tenors...Sicerely, Al

My deepest condolences to the entire Di Giuseppe family. I was fortunate enough to have been his student for the last 6 wonderful years of my life.

I began studying with Mr. Di Giuseppe at the ripe old age of 16 with no intention of seriously pursuing a career in opera. But it was through his enthusiasm and encouragement and confidence in my talent that I began to take my craft more seriously.

As time went by, I began to see him as much more than a teacher. He was...

We are saddened at the loss of our friend and colleague, Enrico Di Giuseppe. He was a kind, genuine friend and a great tenor who was a pleasure to work with on the stage. Our prayers go out to Lorna and all of his family in this time of grief.

I saw Enrico many times. The first time was as Turridu at the N.Y. City Opera House on September 19, 1968. His "Addio alla madre" moved me to tears. Years later, when he was retired, I met him again and thanked him for the many memorable evenings that he had given me at the MET and the N.Y. City Opera House.

So dear charismatic Enrico, please start vocalizing for your new aria "Buongiorno mia cara madre."

My deepest condolences to Lorna, Ricky & John. It was a pleasure to know Enrico. I will truly treasure the last visit I had with him. I will keep you in my prayers.

IT IS WITH GREAT SADNESS THAT WE RECEIVED THE NEWS OF THE PASSING OF ENRICO DI GIUSEPPE.I HAD THE PRIVILIGE OF HEARING HIM AT THE N.Y.CITY OPERA IN HIS EARLY DAYS, AND THEN LATER AT THE MET.
ANOTHER OF THE GREAT ONES IS NOW GONE. MAY HE REST IN PEACE.

it is with great regret that this news has reached me. i first knew enrico as a great italian american tenor whom i used to go hear in new york city as a young man. later in my life i had the honor of meeting and getting to know him. he was, as expected, as wonderful a person as he was a singer....first rate. one of the most memorable thrills of my life came when i got to sing with enrico at the pasteria in philadelphia entertaining the patrons who had come for dinner. he has touched my...
