Not sure what to say?

Rick was one of the kindest people I knew. He and Shirley were there for me when times where tough, they told me "just pass it on". I loved calling and talking with him. I was blest to have known both him and Shirley. My condolences to his children and grandchildren.
Lovingly,
Mickie Abatemarco

My thoughts are with you during your time of grieving. Mr. Yacone was my guidance counselor, teacher and Coach. I will remember to him for modeling calmness in chaos, patience and integrity.

Mr. Yacone was my teacher at IEY and then my counselor at New Rochelle High School. He was a sweet and gentle man. I was sorry to hear about his passing. He will be missed.

I graduated from NRHS in 1978. Coach Rick was an amazing coach, and a really good-hearted person. He will be greatly missed. My prayers and my condolences are with the family.

I had the good fortune to have Rick Yacone as a counselor and a coach, he was always there for you, through the good and the bad, he would never waiver, a stand up man, teacher and coach. With sympathy,

Enrico was a great Dad to my great friend Ann Yacone DiAgostino and Grandfather to Ann’s beautiful children. He was truly loved by his family and will be truly missed. With deepest sympathy. Simone & Paul Stein

To The Yacone Family,
I was the secretary in House I at NRHS for 30 years. Mr. Yacone was one of the counselors in the office when I first went to work at the school. He was a pleasure to work with. I just retired after 30 years in that same office, but still have fond memories of those early years at the high school. RIP Mr. Yacone! A true gentleman who always showed respect and kindness to everyone. May he fly on Eagle’s Wings straight to heaven.
