Enrique L. Rios Jr., 25, of Brooklyn, New York, was killed in the shooting at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando, Florida. Rios was a student of social work at St. Francis College and worked as a coordinator at True Care Home Health Care.
Rios was vacationing in Orlando, celebrating a friend's birthday, when he visited the club. His mother remembered talking to him on Friday and hearing him sound joyful and upbeat.
"He just sounded so happy," she told the New York Daily News. "Enrique was a wonderful person."
Enrique it is still unbelievable that you are gone.A life with so much promise. I AM forever grateful to have known and have been a part of your life.I will miss you always. I Wil hold on to the promise to see you again in heaven until then please watch over all who love you and miss you.
