Not sure what to say?

Our hearts go out to the Togneri Family and Friends. Our prayers and condolences are with you all. Remembering our dear colleague Enzo, as a passionate leader and fighter for students, colleagues, order and the educational system... Your determination, and no nonsense approach has inspired many. You will be greatly missed. Thanks for standing in the gap. I am blessed to have served in the NY school system with you for more than ten years. You will be greatly missed. God bless you!

The most influential and charismatic college professor I ever encountered. Forever in my memory.....somebody who really cared about people. On the last day of class...Mr. Togneri had the students wear white cloths over their heads and he wore one as well. We all signed each others cloths. I will keep mine forever. I still have the Gold Card also. York College CUNY, Class of 96

Mr. Togneri will always be remembered by me , he was a wonderful caring man and a great influence in my life . At the time I met Enzo he was the Dean of Students at Fort Hamilton H.S. There are so many wonderful memories . His spirit will live on forever . May your soul rest in peace . With fond memories your former student John R. Mucia .

Mr.Togneri crossed my thoughts the other day, and I decided to do a web search. It was with much dismay I learned of his passing this past June. I havent seen him or heard of him since my days at John Jay HS in the early 80's. He personified the role of a principal, he was always there to greet his students with a BIG smile, and a handshake. He appeared larger-than-life but was always available to address any concerns. To his familty, I say Thank You for sharing him with us! God Bless and...

It is with profound regret that I learned of Enzo Togneri's death. Fond memories of Enzo will perpetuate in our minds, hearts, and memories. +Réquiem ætérnam dona ei Dómine; et lux perpétua lúceat ei. Requiéscat in pace. Amen.
