Era Louise Allen

Louise was my neighbor behind the alley for 40 years. We did not talk every day or even every month, but we were there to watch over each other. I admired her energy and steadiness. I know she enjoyed reading and would be up late at night and it was a comfort to know she was there. If I saw something suspicious in the alley, I would call to warn her and even if it was late, she would be up and ready to talk. She was a person to be admired and I'm so glad she enjoyed life to the fullest. ...
