Not sure what to say?

My Dear Uncle Ross,

Sorrow fills my heart at this sad moment. A sorrow that is deep and personal. I still remember living next door to you and "MY CHAYO" on Central and Sherman from 1948-1953. This was when you chose my nickname. I was known as "PATUSKA".

My heart aches when I listen to my Dad speak of you. He thinks of often ... even with his severe dementia.

My graditude goes out to you for your service and sacrifice in the United States Navy for this great...

Dear Uncle Ross,

In postscript to my previous entry, I must make honorable mention of the youngest Mulberry Tree that my mom and dad planted. You illustriously Christened that tree with a bottle of beer and that tree grew up crooked, drunk, you decide!

I can't thank you enough for brightening the lives of all my family, my mom, my dad and my brothers, Ralph, Al and Johnny and my...

Because of his age and ailments, my father can't express his feelings adequately but I can tell you that you are my favorite Uncle and I will treasure the Christmas cards that you sent to me here in Albuquerque. I'll never forget your hilarious antics, e.g., Gallina Gachetona, Juan Charrasciado, for my brother, Johnny Carrasco, and...

Hi Tio!!
What I will always remember about you is the laughter and joy you brought to all of us..the crazy faces and silly sayings..and that ever popular nick name you gave me.."Plopsie" You were a major part in my upbringing.. I remember as a kid, running next door to see you washing your Impala or to catch you picking the apricots off that huge tree in your back yard. Encanto Park with you, my Tia Connie and Byron are some of my favorite memories. I am so glad we made the trip to...

To the family, I send my sincere sympathy.
