Lt. Cmdr. Eric Allen Cranford

I worked with Eric for multiple years at Camp Bud Schiele. I looked up to Eric and he extolled the virtues to me of Navy ROTC. I never did join but my father was a marine and my brother later became one of even more profound I have a daughter who is now a Navy Lieutenant and a doctor. Eric was a role model for me and my family. I lived in DC at 9/11 and we had lost touch. I had no idea he was there until a few months ago much less that he had died. A true hero and my friend. Thank you Eric.
