Stacy,
I only knew Eric for a very short time but in that short time he was one of those individuals that touched your life. I never knew him to have anything but a great attitude. My sincere condolances are with you and your daughter. My family will keep you and your daughter in our prayers.

A couple days ago I was told about Eric's untimely passing. Barbara and I send our deepest sympathies to his wife, daughter, Harold, Sherry, and the Arledge family. He was a wonderful young man. We remember watching play an aggressive game of football.

Eric was my cousin but he was much more than that. He was always interested in what was new in my life and was always a lot of fun around holidays just to hang out with and talk to. He always made me feel special since I was his only girl cousin from his dad's side. He will be more than missed and will absolutely never be forgotten.

Eric is the finest example of what a father and husband should be. Beyond being a wonderful family man he is the model of how one should give of themselves to others.

Stacy and Family,
I had the opportunity to be able to work with Eric for the past three years and learn to enjoy his zest for life. We talked often about work and compared notes on deer hunting adventures. We were both from South Georgia and shared stories about what it was like to grow up in South Georgia. We will miss his contributions at Climatic and want you to know, we will continue to keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

I had the privelage of knowing and working with Eric closely over the last 3 years. I feel lucky that we got to see and experience life with Eric every day. He challenged myself and others to be as good as he was. Unfortunately, we did not know how short lived it would be. Had we, I would have squeezed even more from him. He was an exceptional employee and one of the brightest stars in our company. But mostly, he was a good friend. He will be deeply missed by his extended family. Stacy/Avery, we're here for you.

Stacy and Family,
I am at a complete loss for words. I cannot possibly imagine what you are going through. I was shocked when I heard about this tragic situation. Please know that you, Avery, and the rest of your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I wish that I could be there to give you a huge hug and a shoulder to cry on. Try and remember that God only gives us as much as we can handle and He will help you through this. Thinking of you.

I haven't spoken or seen Eric since 1990. When he found out a couple of months ago that I was getting married, he emailed me to offer me his congratulations and to offer advice on honeymoon options. That just shows what a friendly and thoughtful person he was and what I remember about him from being a middle school classmate. In our email exchanges he filled me in on his life (his marriage to Stacy and his little girl)and I have to say I am in complete shock over his passing. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Arledge family and those close and dear to him.

I was fortunate to work with Eric for a long time. He was one of the most intelligent and thoughtful men I knew. He also was a leader and lived life to it's fullest. More than anything he was a good friend. My heart goes out to Stacy and Avery and the rest of the family. Please accept my deepest sympathies.

We are so sorry about Eric's death. Words are so inadequate right now; it seems like you all have had far too much hardship this year. We remember so many soccer and baseball games, and will never forget his wonderful smile and the way he went full-speed ahead, trying to do his best at everything he tried. As long as we all remember him, he will never be lost to any of us!
We have a funeral here in Forsyth on Tuesday afternoon, and won't be able to see you until Eric's funeral, unfortunately. Please just remember that we love you and will hold you and Stacy and the baby in our prayers every day.
